Testimonial by Nadine Norman, AFNOR department manager
“Malfunctions, missing warnings and reporting to the team were stress triggers (sick leave, resignations, repeat mentorship) and resulted in penalties required by a client due to delays. Difficult economic conditions, strengthened by increased competition led to strong concerns among the staff …
I had several expectations for People’s Projects: reinforce the effectiveness and cohesion of teams to respond to the context, raise the awareness of project managers on reporting, harmonize practices to optimize the operation of the team, reduce risk, prevent malfunctions from recurring.
The results achieved were beyond my wishes, in terms of feedback from the team participating in the seminar. The project managers have enjoyed being together, sharing successes and failures and learning about the ways forward together. They understand certain attitudes, concerns of others and developed a better understanding of the operation of each and of the need to adapt.
This helped to develop listening skills, sharing, dialogue between the participants and the manager. With the expertise and knowledge of the consultant, the experiment conducted during the seminar persisted and change continued on the ground. Today, discussions are more fluid, the atmosphere is calmer, and corrective actions have been taken.”
